Around 54% of cars sold in Norway were Electric in 2020, this trend of Electric Vehicles (EVs) in our society is rapidly increasing globally. However, the charging options are not increasing at the same pace. According to IEA, 87% of global EV charge points are installed in private locations and are not accessible to the public. This gives rise to the problem of fewer charging options for an increasing number of EVs currently with not many options for private chargers to be active players in the domain of EV charging.
ChargeBnB aims to solve this exact problem by providing a digital platform enabling an airbnb of EV charging by offering private charger owners "Management", "Sharing" and "Monetization" of their fleet of private chargers.
